We suspect Poppy is a Belgian Malinois mix, which means she's got the brains and the beauty! Weighing in at a sleek 45 pounds, she is that perfect medium size: big enough to keep up on a run but compact enough to easily hop in the car for a weekend getaway. Of course, with any rescue, her breed is a bit of a mystery, but her intelligence and stunning coat are 100% pure bred Good Girl. Poppy is a vocal girl, but not for no reason; she just loves to chat and invite her friends to join the party. Great with friends, but is just as happy to be your one and only! She would be happiest in a home with a medium-energy dog who can keep up with her fun-loving wrestling matches but also knows when it's time to take a collective nap. Poppy is a healthy girl who has received all her necessary vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also been tested for heartworm and treated if needed.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
