Niko Bear might look like he's ready for his own action movie with his rugged good looks and battle scars, but beneath that tough exterior lies the heart of a gentle giant. This approximately 4-year-old, 74lb handsome boy, believed to be a Pittie/Shepherd mix, is a true sweetheart who loves to lean in for affection and gaze at you with the softest eyes. He’s a calm and easygoing companion who enjoys moseying through life at his own pace, soaking up the sunshine, and maybe even enjoying a good mud puddle. Niko is dog-friendly and has shown to be respectful around cats. He’s potty trained and has great house manners, and is steadily gaining confidence with his crate. While he’s still working on his leash skills, he’d make a wonderful companion for neighborhood strolls, a work-from-home buddy, or a backyard lounging pal. He would be happiest in a home with a backyard.
