Meet Deja Vu and Popsakadoo Briards. Terry Miller and Dominique Dube are the AKC Herding Group Breeders of the Year. We are from north eastern Ohio and breed Briards. Terry started in Briards in 1982 after graduating from college, becoming a professional dog trainer/behaviorist and searching for the breed which matched her interest in challenges and working dogs. Dominique started with Briards as a child in 1979, growing up in French speaking Quebec with a dream of becoming a Briard breeder. Our focus is that of long lived dogs with excellent health, dogs of stable and loving character, and breathtaking beauty. We breed for silly devoted pets who can fit in everywhere and who provide years of joy and companionship to their family. The artistry of breeding and preserving this noble historic breed is our passion. Terry and Dominique were chosen as AKC HERDING GROUP BREEDERS OF THE YEAR in 2016. This is the only time in history that a Briard breeder has been chosen for such an award. As far as our show dogs, we have bred over 300 champions, 5 Westminster group placers, 16 Best In Show dogs and are home to the top winning male and female of all time- Flynn and Sassy who are also father and daughter. Most important however, is that every one of our puppies are first and foremost a much loved family companion bringing unequaled unconditional devotion and love to their people. In this particular litter both parents have had their eyes examined by a board certified veterinary ophthalmologist, and had their hips xrayed and evaluated by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals ( OFA), and their hearts examined by a board certified veterinary Cardiologist. "Bob" the sire, is a champion, fully health tested ( eyes, heart, hips, thyroid) including OFA Good Hips. "RB" the dam, is a champion, fully health tested (eyes, heart, hips, thyroid) including OFA Excellent hips. Both Bob and RB have beautiful and stable temperaments. They are friendly, social and could live in any family successfully. We expect the exact same from their puppies. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders.
