Meet Muffy! This sweet, six-and-a-half-year-old Chow Chow with a golden coat is searching for her forever home after her devoted human sadly passed away. Muffy is a quiet observer with an old soul, content to watch the world from a comfy spot or a secure yard. Once she bonds with you, she's a deeply loyal friend who will offer high-fives, twirls, and become your biggest fan. This 50-pound girl is selectively social and enjoys peaceful walks, forest hikes, and learning new tricks like spin and wave. She can be shy with new people, but with patience and a calm environment, her true, loving nature will shine.

Ideal Home

Muffy thrives in a quiet, cat-free home with one or two experienced adults who appreciate her need for routine and space. She's not a fan of sudden chaos or surprise greetings, so a home without young children or a busy, boisterous environment would be best. She can be selective with other dogs, but a calm, laid-back canine sibling might be a good fit with slow and respectful introductions.

Training & Support

Muffy is house-trained and beautifully behaved indoors. She is independent and can be left alone for short periods. She enjoys her daily Greenie treat and regular brushing. While she had a past incident with an unleashed dog, in her daily life, Muffy is calm, observant, and sweet with those she trusts. She needs structure, gentleness, and a caregiver who understands her pace.
