Stewy is a lanky, brindle youngster with a unique look that combines a Dutch Shepherd, a baby deer, a fruit bat, and a sensitive teenager. He's a gentleman who initially may seem cautious, but quickly warms up to become a devoted companion. Stewy has a peculiar habit of "stealing" shoes, but he doesn't chew or destroy them; instead, he proudly carries them around as if they are precious artifacts. He's a soft soul, incredibly sweet, gentle, submissive, and easygoing, often showing his belly even to much smaller dogs.
Stewy thrives with canine companionship and would likely benefit from a friendly dog in his forever home to help build his confidence. Once he feels safe, his goofy, affectionate, playful, and loyal personality shines through. Despite his athletic appearance, Stewy is surprisingly low-energy, preferring short walks, backyard sniffing, and plenty of couch time. He's calm, respectful indoors, crate-trained, mostly potty-trained, and already knows commands like "stay" and "go outside." He's not loud or dramatic, making him a genuinely good dog with a quiet personality that slowly but surely wraps around your life.
Ideal Home
Stewy would do best in a home with children 10 years and older. He also thrives with canine companionship, so another friendly dog in the home would be ideal.
