Xena

Xena is an incredibly sweet and good-natured girl who adores other dogs and is very gentle and patient with them. Because she's spent most of her life with canine companions, humans can sometimes be a little tricky for her to understand. She loves to be petted and to play, especially a good game of chase where she's doing the chasing! However, the way humans move and communicate can sometimes be a bit baffling and startling for her. You'll often see her tail wagging when she's unsure, a sweet signal that she's friendly and trying her best to figure you out, even if you're a bit of a weird human! Xena is eager to find a fun-loving family who can also offer her a calm environment to adjust to new things at her own pace. She's also hoping for a yard to play in!

Ideal Home

Xena would thrive in a home that is fun and engaging but also understands the need to slow down and allow her time to adjust to new experiences. A yard for her to play in is a must!

Ongoing Health

Xena was spayed on 5/8/26 and is up-to-date on her vaccines.

Training & Support

Xena can be a little startled by human movements and communication, so patience and understanding will be key. She's still learning to navigate the human world, but with a fun and gentle approach, she'll surely blossom.
