Skinny

Meet Skinny, a one-year-old Border Collie/Husky mix who weighs 63 pounds. Skinny is a gentle soul who’s ready for a fresh start. He was found as a stray and has shown himself to be a very sweet boy, though the world is still a little overwhelming for him right now. Everything seems new to Skinny, and while he can be nervous in unfamiliar situations, he truly wants to please and looks to people for reassurance. Despite likely having very little experience before coming in, he has already surprised everyone by walking nicely on a leash and trying his best to learn. With some TLC, gentle guidance, and consistency, this sweet boy has all the potential to become a loyal and loving companion.

Ongoing Health

All of Skinny's adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick treatment, rabies vaccine (for pets 3-4 months and older), and a microchip with nationwide registration.

Training & Support

Skinny is already walking nicely on a leash and trying his best to learn. He needs gentle guidance and consistency to build confidence.

Skinny is currently at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. Transport is available.
