Copper

Copper is a 10-week-old German Shorthaired Pointer puppy who is a bundle of joy! He's already proving to be a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with other dogs and children. He also enjoys a good cuddle session. German Shorthaired Pointers are known for being affectionate, intelligent, and incredibly energetic. While they love to snuggle indoors, they need about 60-90 minutes of vigorous exercise daily. They also form strong bonds with their families and thrive on human interaction, so they can experience separation anxiety if left alone for extended periods.

Ideal Home

A home that can provide ample exercise and human interaction would be ideal for Copper.

Ongoing Health

Copper will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives for his age. He will also receive an additional exam and health certificate from a state-licensed veterinarian prior to travel.

Training & Support

As a puppy, Copper will benefit from consistent training and socialization.

Transporation

Copper is currently located at our shelter in Lucedale, MS. He will be ready for transport on July 31st, arriving at the listed pickup destination 1-2 days later. If you wish to pick him up earlier, you would need to arrange your own transportation or fly into Mobile, AL or Gulfport, MS, where a team member can meet you. You are also welcome to pick him up in person at our shelter at no additional cost. An optional semi-private transport is available for an additional $185 fee.
