Meet Buddy, a distinguished senior Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart brimming with affection, just waiting for his perfect match! Buddy can be a little reserved initially, needing time to feel secure and decompress. But don't let his shyness fool you; once he's comfortable, his incredibly sweet and gentle nature truly blossoms.

Ideal Home

Buddy would be happiest in a calm, low-energy household where he can truly relax and feel safe. A patient adopter who understands his need for time to adjust will be his superhero! While we haven't seen him with cats, he adores the company of other dogs and would likely do well in a home with canine friends.

Ongoing Health

Buddy is a healthy senior boy who is house-trained and crate-trained. His crate is his sanctuary, and he finds comfort and security there, even when his people are home.

Training & Support

Buddy walks nicely on a leash and is a generally well-behaved companion. His patient adopter will be key to helping him continue to blossom and feel confident in his new environment.
