KONG

Meet Kong! This big teddy bear of a dog was surrendered to us on June 28th when his family could no longer keep him. His previous family shared that he's good with children and other dogs. Volunteers here describe Kong as a big sweetheart with a gentle nature. He's approximately 4 years old and weighs a sturdy 89 lbs.

Kong would love a home that can appreciate his gentle nature.

Ongoing Health

Kong's ears have been a little itchy, and he'll need a visit to the veterinarian to get them feeling their best. He is up-to-date on vaccines, has been neutered, and tested negative for heartworms. He will be microchipped upon adoption.

Training & Support

Kong already knows how to sit on command and is eager to please! He could use a patient adopter to help him polish his leash manners.

Kong is currently at Cobb County Animal Services, located at 1060 Al Bishop Dr, Marietta, GA 30008. Shelter hours are Tuesday - Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays and Holidays.
