Oreo

Oreo is a one-year-old mystery mix, weighing in at a solid 55-60 lbs, who is ready to fill your home with love and laughter! He's a delightful blend of American Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, and American Pit Bull Terrier, with a sprinkle of other breeds – truly one of a kind! Oreo's journey began a little rough; he and his siblings were found abandoned. Despite his start, Oreo is a social butterfly with a sweet nature. He's a pro at car rides and has been a gentleman around people and other dogs. He enjoys bursts of energy but settles down quickly after a walk or some playtime. Oreo is a quick learner, already understanding outdoor potty breaks, and he's a television enthusiast, especially fond of "Clifford the Big Red Dog." Once he discovered couches, he became a world-class cuddler, making him the perfect snuggle buddy. He even has a charming habit of putting his front paws in his water bowl while drinking – a quirk that's sure to bring a smile to your face!

Ideal Home

Oreo is a friendly boy who gets along well with other dogs. Because he can be a bouncy pup who likes to jump up to greet people, we recommend a home with children ages 10 and up. We are happy to test Oreo with cats upon request.

Ongoing Health

Oreo is fully vetted and ready to go home. His adoption includes a comprehensive health package: he is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. He has been dewormed and is on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Within 10 days of his travel, he will receive a fresh health certificate and fecal exam.

Training & Support

Oreo is a quick learner and has shown great promise in his short time with us. He is already demonstrating good indoor manners and seems to understand potty training.
