Heathery

Hi there! My name is Heathery and I'm a sweet 11-week-old female Lab mix puppy, weighing about 6.5 lbs. I recently arrived from a shelter in Puerto Rico and I'm looking for my forever home in the DC area. I love to play with my toys, get my zoomies out, and snuggle up for naps. I also enjoy going for walks and making new friends, both human and canine!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home that will give me plenty of opportunities to play and explore. Since I'm still a young puppy, I'll need several potty breaks and exercise sessions throughout the day. If you work a standard 8-hour day, please be prepared to make arrangements to meet my needs.

Ongoing Health

As a puppy, I've received age-appropriate vaccines, but I'm not yet fully vaccinated. It's the adopter's responsibility to ensure I receive the rest of my puppy vaccines on schedule. Until I'm fully vaccinated, I'm at a higher risk for illness. I also haven't been spayed yet. As part of the adoption contract, I'll need to be spayed or neutered no later than October 11, 2026.

Training & Support

I'll need some work on my house training and will benefit greatly from attending a puppy obedience class to help me grow into a well-socialized dog.
