Daisy Sue, a 2-year-old spayed female weighing 35 pounds, is a delightful Pointer/Australian Cattle dog mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. She was rescued from a euthanasia list after being returned to a shelter, and we're so glad we could give her a second chance at happiness. Daisy, affectionately nicknamed "Dollop of Daisy," is a bundle of joy and sweetness who loves to play, cuddle, and be your shadow.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise, whether through daily walks, playtime with another dog, or in a securely fenced yard. She would love a canine companion to play with and learn from, as she gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and genders. Daisy is a sensitive soul who would do best in a calm home with a predictable routine, rather than a busy household. She would also do well with children 10 years or older who understand how to be gentle with a shy dog. While she can be left alone, it's best to keep shoes picked up, as she finds them fascinating!
Ongoing Health
Daisy is a healthy young dog.
Training & Support
Daisy is a smart girl who has already learned a lot! She is fully house-trained, walks beautifully on leash without reacting to people or other dogs, and is crate-trained. She has no issues with resource guarding and politely shares her toys and treats. Daisy can be shy when meeting new people, especially men, and may bark or keep her distance initially. With patience, gentle voices, and a little space, she warms up and becomes affectionate and cuddly. Her food motivation makes training even more fun!
