Charlie Brown is a charming, year-old mixed breed who's ready to be your devoted best friend! He's a medium-sized pup, around 50lbs, and has a beautiful red coat and expressive eyes that are sure to melt your heart. Charlie is a curious and playful companion, always wanting to be involved in your day. He absolutely adores belly rubs and snuggling on the couch, often hiding his treasures there for safekeeping. He's also a big fan of toys, so be sure to keep them stocked! Charlie has a curious and sometimes mischievous side, especially when it comes to his foster siblings and new experiences.
Ideal Home
Charlie would thrive in a home with a securely fenced backyard where he can stretch out and enjoy the sunshine. He'd do best with calm, kind, and patient canine companions, preferably female, and would also be happy as the only dog if he has plenty of human interaction. Due to his vocal nature when missing his people, he would not be a good fit for an apartment and would do best in a home with thicker walls. Charlie would also prefer a home without any feline friends, as he is a bit too interested in them. He would also do best with older, respectful children who understand how to give a dog space and kindness, as he can be a little nervous and slow to warm up initially.

Training & Support
Charlie Brown is already kennel trained, potty trained, and has wonderful house manners. While he is generally a good boy, he can be a little vocal when he misses his people. He is also a bit of a nervous nelly at times due to an unknown past, so he will need some patience as he adjusts to his new home. With his intelligence and eagerness to please, he is very trainable and will continue to blossom with consistent positive reinforcement.

Charlie Brown is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via Wags' USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up locations in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an additional $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
