Meet Violet! This sweet and loyal girl is about 1.5 years old and has a truly remarkable story. Violet was found roaming the streets of Houston, TX, and despite facing extreme hardship, she emerged as one of the most affectionate dogs you'll ever meet. She's fully potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is great with dogs of all sizes, drawing confidence from her canine companions. Violet is also kid-friendly, though she can be a little timid around loud noises from very young children. She knows "sit" and is making excellent progress with place and crate training. Violet is a world-class cuddler who will army crawl across any surface to be close to you. Her loyalty is unwavering, but she is terrified of squeaky toys and is obsessed with the hose and playing tug. Violet has survived the worst and still chooses to trust people, shining brightly at adoption events.
