Meet Peter Pepper, a charming 2-year-old weighing in at a perfect 21 pounds. Peter is a thoughtful and gentle soul who takes a little time to warm up to new people. With a bit of patience, a few treats, and some gentle encouragement, he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion. He enjoys quiet companionship and is content to simply be by your side, soaking up affection in his easygoing way.
Ideal Home
Peter would thrive in a home that understands his need for a little time to adjust. He would do well in an apartment setting or a home with a yard. He could also do well with other dogs who respect his space, or as the only pet. He may also do best with slightly older, more understanding children who can match his calm energy.
Ongoing Health
Peter is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworm and treated if needed. He is microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Peter walks nicely on leash and enjoys exploring at his own pace. While not explicitly mentioned, his calm demeanor suggests he would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and gentle guidance as he settles into a new home.
