About Bella, the Girl Who Never Stopped Hoping

Bella, a beautiful 1-year-old German Shepherd, is a resilient and loving soul who endured a heartbreaking start to life. Found tied to a post at only a year old, she was left without explanation. Despite this ordeal, Bella has blossomed into a bright, affectionate, and spirited young dog who is now ready for a family to cherish her forever. She weighs approximately 55 lbs.

Ideal Home

Bella is seeking an active home that can provide continued training, daily exercise, and plenty of playtime. She would thrive with someone who appreciates a smart, goofy, and affectionate companion. Due to her tendency to view cats as chaseable, she currently lives in a separate room from them and sleeps in her crate.

Ongoing Health

Bella is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention. She is healthy and ready for her new life.

Training & Support

Bella is a smart and eager-to-please girl who already knows "sit" and "stay." She is house-trained and crate-trained, viewing her crate as a treasure chest for her toys and treats. She is learning not to jump, as she gets very excited! She may chew when bored, so providing her with plenty of structure, toys, and activity will be key to her success. Her absolute favorite treat is a frozen peanut butter Kong!
