I'm Bacon, a 1-year-old Miniature Pinscher with a goofy, spirited personality and a deep love for snuggles! I've been through some changes, so I might be a little shy at first, but with patience, I promise to show you my fun, quirky, and incredibly loving side. Once I feel safe, my true personality shines! I love to get the zoomies around the house, play with my squeaky toys (Lambchop is my favorite!), and I'll surely make you laugh with my silly energy. I enjoy hopping like a bunny in the yard and chasing birds, and while I love a good game of fetch, I'd rather you come get the ball so we can do it all over again! I sleep soundly in my crate for naps and at night, and I'm doing a fantastic job with my house training. I can sleep a full 8 hours in my crate and am very quiet. I'm also incredibly cuddly and love to be close to my person, whether that's on the couch, at your feet, or curled up right beside you. I would love to sleep under the covers or on your chest if allowed, but my crate is also a great spot. Walks are a work in progress as I'm still building confidence exploring the world. I'm a bit shy initially and may bark at people and dogs on walks, so slow introductions are key. I like the idea of other dogs but haven't had much socialization beyond my sister. Treats are my motivation, and I love them all!
Ideal Home
I'm dreaming of a home where I'm not just a pet, but your little sidekick! It's essential that someone is home with me all the time as I don't like being alone. A family that will laugh at my zoomies and include me in life's adventures would be wonderful. I'd thrive as the only dog in the house, allowing me to be your primary snuggle bug and focus. A home with a backyard for my zoomies and plenty of cuddles, encouragement, and quality time together is perfect.
Ongoing Health
All my vetting, including neuter, microchip, and vaccines, is up to date.
Training & Support
Walks are a work in progress as I'm still building confidence and learning to be less reactive to people and dogs. Slow introductions are important for me to feel safe. I enjoy fetch but need encouragement to bring the ball back.
