Meet George, a one-year-old goofball with a heart full of love and a body powered by pure joy! George is the kind of puppy who believes the world exists to be loved, kissed, and played with, all at once. He wiggles his whole body, climbs right into your lap, and reminds you that no one is a stranger, just a friend he hasn't kissed yet. His sweet, goofy puppy smile and endlessly wagging tail make it impossible not to fall for him instantly. George adores people, is affectionate and cuddly, and is eager to be part of whatever you're doing. He'd be thrilled to be your shadow, couch companion, adventure buddy, and reason to laugh every day. When he isn't loving on his people, he's playing – it's his greatest passion! He's incredibly dog-friendly and greets every dog with a play bow, kisses, and joyful chaos. George loves running, chasing games, tug, sharing toys, and even lazy play sessions. One of his quirks is ducking under things like they're personal tunnels! He does great with multiple dogs and would love dog siblings, but could also be happy as an only dog if his humans keep him engaged and active. George walks beautifully on leash and checks in constantly, making him a wonderful companion for walks, outings, and adventures. He'd be the perfect dog to take everywhere with you, always ready for the next experience by your side.
Ideal Home
George would ideally have a cat-free home, as he can be a bit too playful for kitties. However, he could go into a home with cat-friendly cats if he has a playful dog companion to redirect his energy and the cats have safe escape routes. He loves kids and does well with them, but older children who can handle his bouncy play and occasional hops of love would be the best fit. He's adaptable and could do well in an apartment with an active family or a home with a yard.
Ongoing Health
George is a healthy puppy. All vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip, is up to date.
Training & Support
George is still very much a puppy and comes with all that happy, bouncy energy. Continued training will help him channel his excitement, but his eagerness to engage and love people makes him a joy to work with.

Transporation
George is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
