MEET OLD MAN BAN!
Ban is a delightful senior gentleman, estimated to be around 8-10 years old. He came to us after spending time at an animal control shelter, waiting patiently for a family that never came. We were thrilled to welcome him into our rescue and give him a fresh start! Ban has settled into his foster home like he's always been there, winning everyone over with his sweet and upbeat personality. He's a true gem, getting along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids. He's also housebroken and crate-trained, making him an easy and joyful addition to any home. Ban's days are a perfect blend of playful romps and cozy naps. He's content to chew on a bone in his bed or join in on the fun with his younger foster siblings in the yard. He's also a great companion for household chores, happily hanging out with his foster dad in the garage and always ready for an adventure to the hardware store. Car rides, especially in a truck, are his absolute favorite! You can find him soaking up the sun in the driveway or curled up cozily on the couch. If you're looking for an easygoing companion who's up for both chilling out and embarking on adventures, and who will show you that age is just a number, Ban might be the perfect match for you!
Ideal Home
Ban would thrive in a home where he can enjoy a mix of quiet relaxation and gentle activity. He's already shown he's great with dogs, cats, and kids, so he's adaptable to many family settings.
Ongoing Health
Ban has received a comprehensive veterinary workup, including dental care and the removal of several masses. All masses were benign, except for one low-grade mast cell tumor. The surgical margins were clean, meaning the risk of recurrence is low, though not impossible. He is otherwise a healthy and spry dog.
Training & Support
Ban is housebroken and crate-trained, and has proven to be a well-behaved companion. His easygoing nature makes him a pleasure to have around.
