Piper

Piper has overcome so much and is ready for a loving forever home! This sweet girl is approximately two years old and weighs around 45 pounds. She was rescued from a hoarding situation and, after a tough start, has blossomed into an affectionate, loving, and gentle companion. Piper has a delightful personality – she can be poised one moment and then zoom around with playful energy or flop down for a good belly rub the next. She absolutely adores children and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She's even a great yoga buddy, often joining in with her own downward dog pose!

Ideal Home

Piper would thrive in a quiet neighborhood where sudden loud noises won't startle her. A busy city environment would be too overwhelming for her. She would also do best in a home with another confident dog who can help her continue to build her confidence.

Ongoing Health

Piper has made a full recovery from mange and is in good health.

Training & Support

Piper is already potty trained and crate trained, though she no longer needs a crate as she is a very well-behaved dog. She is still a little sensitive to loud noises, so continued patience and positive reinforcement will help her feel secure.
