Duncan is a 6-year-old, 67-pound Pit Bull mix with a heart full of love to give. He's a happy boy who has overcome a difficult past and is now ready for his furever home. Duncan was found in poor condition at a prison in California, suffering from wounds and a lack of fur. Thankfully, he was rescued and brought to Northern Utah, where he has since thrived with dedicated care.

Ideal Home

Duncan would do best in a home where he can be the only dog. While he loves children and is wonderful with them, he is fear-reactive to adult dogs. He is also terrified of other dogs in public and can become aggressive if not removed from the situation immediately.

Ongoing Health

Duncan has food allergies and requires a grain and poultry-free diet. He is currently thriving on a salmon-based food. He has also undergone a complete dental procedure and is missing 14 teeth, but this does not prevent him from enjoying dry food and treats.

Training & Support

Duncan is a resilient and loving companion. He enjoys playing tug-of-war and fetch. He also loves to cuddle with his favorite purple blanket.
