Navajo, a 6.5-year-old, 75-pound Pitbull mix, is a sweet, affectionate, and easygoing pup ready to be your loyal adventure buddy. He offers the perfect blend of playful energy and relaxed companionship, happy to join you for a walk or curl up for a cozy evening. He enjoys playing with other dogs, particularly in one-on-one or small group settings, and generally reads social cues well, though he may need gentle redirection if he gets too excited. Navajo walks politely on leash, only pulling a bit when he's initially excited. He's fully house and crate-trained, can be left loose in the house without issue, and has no signs of separation anxiety. Navajo loves meeting people and has done well around children. He would do best in a home without cats, as he has shown a strong prey drive towards them. He's affectionate, playful, smart, curious, silly, and independent, adores toys, and is a champion cuddler. He's also an excellent car rider, great at the vet, has no issues with stairs, and loves to nap in cozy, unusual spots. Navajo has shown no resource guarding.
Ideal Home
Navajo would thrive in a stable, moderately active home that enjoys daily walks, occasional outings, and lots of affection. He could do well as an only dog or with a compatible canine friend. He would do best in a cat-free home.
Ongoing Health
Navajo needed dental work upon arrival and had several damaged teeth removed, including his canines. His remaining teeth are healthy and he still happily chews his favorite bones.
Training & Support
Navajo is polite on leash, house-trained, and crate-trained. He can be left loose in the house and has no signs of separation anxiety.

Transporation
Navajo is currently located in San Antonio, Texas, and will transport once an adopter is approved. Transport is included in our adoption donation.
