Toby (CP)

Toby is a wonderfully affectionate five-year-old pit bull mix with a heart full of love to give. He was found at a truck stop and, after a rough start, has made a full recovery and is now completely healthy. Toby is house-trained and is a true couch potato when he's not engaging in his favorite game of tug-of-war. He has a goofy, joyful spirit and can often be found prancing around the house for no reason at all, bringing smiles to everyone he meets. He's ready to be a devoted companion and bring his unique charm to a loving home.

Ideal Home

Toby would thrive in a home without cats, as he does not get along with them. While he would ideally be the only dog, he might do well with another dog of similar size. He is great with children and would make a wonderful addition to a family.

Ongoing Health

Toby has made a full recovery from hookworm, heartworm, mange, and malnourishment. Medical records can be provided.

Training & Support

Toby is a smart boy and has had professional training in the past. While his owner hasn't kept up with it, he is confident that Toby will quickly pick up commands again with consistent reinforcement.
