Leroy

Who can resist that smile? Meet Leroy, a 2-year-old Pyr mix with a heart of gold and a playful spirit. He joined us when his previous owner faced health challenges, and now he's ready to find his forever family. Leroy is a very affectionate boy who loves his people and might greet you with an enthusiastic jump. He enjoys the company of other dogs but can be a bit dominant, especially with males. He'd likely do best with a laid-back female dog or as the only canine companion. Leroy also shows some interest in cats, but with a bit of guidance, we think he'll learn to be a polite friend.

Ideal Home

Leroy would thrive in a home with a large, fenced yard where he can romp and play. He needs an active adopter who can keep up with his playful energy. Because he can be a bit vocal, he's not suited for apartment living. A home without very young children would be ideal, allowing him to be his happiest self.
