Navajo, a 6.5-year-old, 75-pound Pitbull mix, is a sweet, affectionate, and easygoing pup ready to be your loyal adventure buddy. He strikes a perfect balance between playful energy and relaxed companionship, happy to join you for a walk or snuggle up at home. Navajo enjoys playing with other dogs, particularly in smaller groups or one-on-one settings, and is learning to be mindful of his excitement levels. He's generally good with dogs of all sizes and is comfortable with those his own size or smaller. Navajo is polite and non-reactive on leash, with only a slight pull at the start of walks. He is fully house-trained, crate-trained (though he doesn't need to be crated), and can be left alone without issue. He loves meeting people and has shown no concerns around children.
Ideal Home
Navajo would thrive in a stable, moderately active home that enjoys daily walks, occasional outings, and lots of affection. He doesn't require an ultra-active lifestyle but benefits from consistent exercise, love, and companionship. He could do well as an only dog or with a compatible canine friend. Navajo would do best in a cat-free home due to a strong prey drive towards cats.
Ongoing Health
Navajo recently underwent dental work where several damaged teeth were removed, including his canines. His remaining teeth are healthy, and he still happily chews his favorite bones.
Training & Support
Navajo is house-trained and crate-trained. He is generally good with other dogs, though may occasionally need gentle redirection if he gets too excited. He is polite and non-reactive on leash.
