About Brigid

Brigid is a sweet and loving German Shepherd/Retriever mix who is between 1 and 2 years old. She was rescued from a partner shelter because she was too shy and shut down, and we don't have any history on her as she was picked up as a stray. It took her a couple of days to warm up, but now she's a velcro dog who loves to play with toys. Brigid is crate trained and will do best with a patient person in a calm home environment. She's already shown she's great with cats and dogs, and we are still kid-testing her.

Ideal Home

Brigid would thrive in a home where she can continue to build her confidence. She must have a fenced-in yard and an owner who has a home.

Ongoing Health

Brigid is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She has also been dewormed and microchipped.

Training & Support

Brigid is crate trained and enjoys playing with toys. She will need a patient adopter who can provide a calm and stable environment as she continues to adjust.
