Meet Greenley! This handsome hound mix boasts a luxuriously fluffy brindle coat and a heart full of hope. He was found wandering an area known for discarded animals, but from the moment he arrived, our staff recognized a gentle soul just waiting to blossom. Greenley can be shy and guarded initially, especially with men, but he's made incredible progress with patient love and a consistent routine. He takes his time getting comfortable with new people and situations, but each day reveals more of his curious and playful spirit. He's a happy-go-lucky boy who simply longs to be loved. Once he trusts you and knows you're kind, he'll be your devoted best friend. Greenley is a dream on the leash, keeps his kennel impeccably clean, and clearly has some learned manners from a previous home. He even knows the 'sit' command! He gets excited for walks and will gently 'boop' you if you're taking too long to get his collar on, as if to say, "Hurry up, let's go!" He rides well in the car, settles down nicely in the evenings with his bone, and sleeps soundly through the night. Greenley is highly treat-motivated and knows exactly how to use those big brown eyes to win you over – gently, of course! He loves to play and has yet to meet a dog he doesn't enjoy playing with. He's proving he's not just well-mannered; he's a joyful goofball at heart! Greenley has thrived in a foster home, where he adores playtime with his two foster canine brothers. He'll even do a happy dance in the grass when he's feeling joyful. He dreams of sunset strolls and shared snacks with someone who appreciates quiet moments and daily bursts of fun.

Greenley would do best in a home with another playful dog to help build his confidence, and a spacious yard for him to frolic in.
