Poochie is a small, spunky Malshi (Maltese/Shih Tzu) who is recovering from a completely dislocated hip. He has completed FHO surgery, is using his leg more each day, and has become loving and playful with people he trusts. He is still scared of strangers and needs time to warm up.

Poochie is looking for a calm adult home without children who may accidentally fall on him. His adopters should be patient while he builds trust.

Poochie’s hip injury was diagnosed by X-ray, and he has completed FHO surgery. He is recovering nicely and beginning to use his leg more each day.

Training & Support

Poochie was unsocialized and very fearful when he arrived, but he has warmed up to his caregivers and is affectionate with those he trusts.
