URGENT - The shelter is overflowing and over capacity. They desperately need adopters today! There is no more space therefore when a kennel is needed for an incoming dog and no kennels are available, a dog is forced to give up their life. Please adopt or offer to long term foster for rescue to clear kennels and save lives!

We are courtesy posting this dog for the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter to help them find a home. The shelter is severely overcrowded and desperately needs help. Dogs are being turned in higher numbers than the shelter can accommodate, therefore many are losing their lives due to lack of cage space. We are helping get the word out of their immediate need. Please save this deserving pooch and clear a kennel for another dog in need today!

Rocky is a neutered male, tan and white Alaskan Malamute and German Shepherd Dog. The shelter thinks he is about 5 years old and he weighs approximately 65 lbs. Rocky rubs against legs like a cat and walks well on leash. He knows how to sit and did well during his brushing. Rocky also did well on his temperament test with a spayed Pit Bull.

Ideal Home

Rocky would likely thrive in a home where he can get plenty of attention and enjoy gentle affection, as he enjoys rubbing against legs like a cat.

Training & Support

Rocky knows "sit" and walks well on leash. He also did well during his brushing, suggesting he is receptive to grooming.
