Meet sweet little Canela!

Canela is an 8 lb., 6-year-old Chihuahua girl who is looking for a forever home with her best friend, Chiquita. These two tiny girls are hoping to find a family who will love them both and let them continue their journey together. Like many Chihuahuas, Canela and Chiquita can be a little barky and protective at first, but underneath those big personalities are two little dogs who just want a family of their own to love and be loved by. They are looking for someone who understands that their tiny size comes with a lot of loyalty and love! Could this adorable little pair be the perfect addition to your family? As an added incentive, their adoption fee is half price each!

Ideal Home

They would not be the best fit for a home with small children, but they are good with cats and have done well with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Canela and Chiquita have both been spayed and have had their dental care completed by our veterinarians. All our dogs and puppies are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, Bordetella, and distemper/parvo, treated with flea/ tick medication, tested for heartworm and Lyme disease, and given a microchip before being adopted into their new homes.

Training & Support

Like many Chihuahuas, Canela and Chiquita can be a little barky and protective at first.

• You must live within a 175-mile radius of our facility to be considered for adoption.
• We process applications in the order they are received; therefore, it could take up to 2 weeks for us to respond to your application.

Transporation

Canela is located at HART for Animals. We can transport adopted pets to approved adopters within a 175-mile radius of our facility.
