Wolfie is a handsome and unique about one-year-old pup weighing 63 lbs. He is incredibly people-friendly and has shown no reactivity to cats or other dogs. He also loves children! Wolfie is an athletic boy with a high energy level, rating an 8 out of 10. He truly embraces life with joyful play and loves to be active. This sweetheart is also very affectionate, soaking up all the kisses, hugs, and snuggles he can get. He's a gentle soul, taking treats politely even when they're high-value. Despite spending a good portion of his young life in isolation, Wolfie is remarkably smart and attuned to communication, even sitting on command without prior training. His striking, coyote-like appearance is a head-turner, and he has a way of making you laugh with his independent spirit. Wolfie loves life's adventures, walks, and attention, though he's not a fan of being cooped up. He's highly food-motivated and believes no crumb should be left behind! While his prey drive is likely standard, we haven't observed anything unusual.
Ideal Home
Wolfie would thrive with an active family or individual/couple who enjoys activities like hiking. He's looking for someone eager to engage with him and provide him with a life full of adventure and companionship. He has never lived in a house before, so a patient adopter who can help him adjust to indoor living with a slow introduction would be ideal.

Training & Support
Wolfie is house-trained within his kennel and is not messy. Given consistent structure, he is expected to learn quickly. He walks well on a leash, initially excited to explore but will follow instructions once he's had his fill of sniffing. He is well-behaved in the car.
