Say hello to Jake, a 5-year-old Siberian Husky mix who’s as handsome as he is majestic! With his dense, velvety black coat, striking white markings, including a fun white mask across his face, this supersized stunner truly embodies the best of the husky spirit. Jake is ready to run right into your heart with his loyal, athletic spirit and sweet nature. He came to us as a stray on 5/5/26 and is a prime example of a husky, with all the breed’s best qualities - independent, athletic, curious, and loyal. He enjoys exploring, but always comes back for affection, giving you the best of both worlds.

Ideal Home

Jake would thrive in an active, outdoorsy home. He’s the perfect partner for early morning runs, long hikes, and all your weekend adventures. He did well with other dogs during playgroup, but would frequently return to seek affection from our volunteers, showing he could make an excellent doggo brother to other pups you may have, but also offers plenty of companionship for people too! No cats please, as he did exhibit a strong prey drive towards the strays that roam around the shelter grounds.

Ongoing Health

Jake is an 81-pound neutered male who is a bit underweight for his frame, so he could use a few extra meals and yummy snackies to help him fill out. He may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but we can likely help with this.
