November - a 9-year-old, 49lb Husky Mix who is spayed. She's a smart, sweet girl with a touch of husky goofiness. November settles in well and enjoys deep naps, but she's also happy to give kisses when she's looking for attention. She's generally quiet and has a unique way of "talking" when she's feeling big emotions, which her foster parent finds very cute! She handled bathtime like a pro and is unfazed by busy city environments. November walks nicely on leash and is also a good traveler in the car.

Ideal Home

November would do best in a home that can provide a quiet, calm environment with a predictable routine, as she does not do well with a lot of bustle or change. She may be comfortable with children aged 12 and up, but this would require adult supervision. While she has shown she can do well with a resident dog after careful introductions, she doesn't seem to enjoy face-to-face greetings with other dogs. She seems to be okay with cats.

Ongoing Health

November is healthy for her age and up-to-date on her vaccines. She has been spayed and microchipped. Adopters should be prepared for senior dog care, which includes annual checkups with senior bloodwork and potential dental work.

Training & Support

November knows all her basic commands and listens well with a firm tone. She has good leash manners and would likely learn to heel quickly with reinforcement. She is past any mouthing or destructive chewing behaviors and does not suffer from separation anxiety.
