Pumpkin Lumpkin is a two-year-old Redbone Coonhound mix with a personality as sweet as her name suggests. She's a gentle soul with dramatic, floppy ears that are as endearing as they are unique. Pumpkin's favorite pastime is relaxation, whether it's on a comfy couch, a soft dog bed, or even your lap if you'll allow it. She's a low-maintenance companion who enjoys calm strolls and peaceful coexistence. Pumpkin is incredibly tolerant and affectionate with people, greeting everyone with gentle wags and a sweet disposition. She's also a good canine citizen, polite and unproblematic with other dogs, and even does well with calm, dog-savvy cats. While she hasn't been formally tested with children, her gentle and easygoing nature suggests she could be a wonderful family dog. Pumpkin is currently on a wellness journey, carrying a little extra weight, but this doesn't stop her from enjoying leisurely explorations.
Ideal Home
Pumpkin would thrive in a home that embraces a slower pace of life, with plenty of soft spots for napping. She would enjoy leisurely sniffy walks and humans who appreciate her magnificent floppy ears. While she can be vocal about her opinions, a home with a yard or a more hound-friendly apartment setting would be ideal.
