Gissel is a beautiful 35lb German Shepherd mix with an estimated birthday of 11/12/2024. She's the perfect medium-sized companion, ready to brighten every day with her loving spirit. Before coming to rescue, Gissel was a devoted mother, saving her puppies from the euthanasia list. Now that her pups are grown, it's finally her turn to be someone's beloved pet! She's affectionate, gentle, and happiest by your side, whether you're out for a walk, running errands, or just enjoying a cozy evening at home. With a wagging tail and a heart full of love, Gissel is eagerly waiting for her forever family.

Ideal Home

Gissel is a social butterfly who loves people and gets along well with other dogs and cats. She enjoys neighborhood strolls and outdoor adventures.

Gissel is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Gissel is kennel and potty trained. She is also eligible for 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

Transporation

Gissel is located in Houston, TX. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
