Meet Lainey, a beautiful girl with a heart and soul bigger than her body! Lainey was found as a stray in November 2025 and is estimated to be around three years old. She’s currently being fostered in Addison, Texas, and has truly bloomed under her foster's care. Lainey's personality is that of a true couch potato, enjoying cozy naps with her stuffed animal companions, punctuated by occasional zoomies with a chew bone. She adores following her foster's two-year-old around the house and is especially fond of children. Lainey has also proven to be dog and cat friendly! She enjoys long walks and is a dream on the leash, staying right by your side without pulling. She's a quiet girl who rarely barks and is doing wonderfully with potty training, having had no accidents in a long time!
Ideal Home
Lainey would prefer a home with calmer pets, as she can get nervous around loud or energetic dogs and tends to hide. She is unfazed by loud noises from people or toddler tantrums.
Ongoing Health
Lainey is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. This treatment is fully covered by Mutts N Such Rescue.
Training & Support
Lainey is doing very well with potty training. She is a quiet companion who enjoys gentle walks and cuddles.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- The adoption interview and meet-and-greet will occur via video call.
- Our out-of-state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (which varies by location). This fee covers all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter (for pets 6 months and older), and a heartworm test (if over 6 months old). All dogs will be up-to-date on flea and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
- Mutts N Such Rescue reserves the right to deny any application deemed unsuitable for the animal. Adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis; our priority is finding the best possible home for each animal.
Transportation
Lainey is currently being fostered in Texas but is available for transport. Our dogs are fostered in Texas or Pennsylvania and are available for transport out of state to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
