Bear

Bear came to us from a home in Eastern Washington in 2023. He’s been in his foster home for a while now and is still looking for his forever home! We learned quickly that he’s aptly named – he’s a big guy – but Bear is only part of his name, because the first part has to be “Teddy.” He’s 8 years old and weighed in at 125 pounds when we had him to the vet to update his vaccines. He’s a total love with people of all ages, including a good boy at the vet!

Ideal Home

Bear would do best in a home without cats and no children under 10 years old. Rottweiler experience would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Bear is up to date on his vaccines.

Training & Support

Bear can be a counter surfer, but he is eager to please and food motivated. He is crate trained and house trained. While Bear was initially reactive towards other dogs, his foster has been working with him, and he now does well with good introductions. He is strong on leash and can be excitable, but consistency in training will help him learn to interact respectfully with other dogs.

Bear is located in Washington State and no interstate transports are available. Adopters from Oregon, Idaho, and BC will be considered.
