Nico

Nico is a charming 1-year-old Shih Tzu mix, weighing in at about 12 pounds. He came to us in rough shape, severely matted and neglected, a stark reminder of a past where he wasn't given the care he deserved. Despite his difficult beginnings, Nico's spirit remains bright and hopeful. He's an absolutely wonderful little dog – sweet, gentle, playful, and incredibly affectionate. Nico thrives on human companionship, soaking up attention with a warm, trusting personality that truly shines. He is currently a bit underweight, but with proper nutrition and a loving environment, he's sure to gain his strength and flourish. Nico has a special way of quietly becoming the center of your world, offering unwavering loyalty, boundless love, and always being happy to be by your side. He's dreaming of a family who will cherish him, and in return, he promises to fill their lives with love.

Ideal Home

Nico would love a home where he can receive consistent love and care. He has shown he gets along with cats and children under 8, but his interactions with children 8 and up are unknown.

Nico is currently slightly underweight but is expected to thrive with proper care and nutrition. He has been neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Nico is noted as house-trained. He is a wonderful dog who will bring immense joy to his new family.
