Meet Dolce! This nearly one-year-old, 45-pound Staffie mix is a bundle of joy and affection, ready to bring smiles and wagging tails to her forever home. Dolce is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives, and eager to embark on her new life. Her expressive eyes and wiggly demeanor perfectly capture her playful spirit and her knack for being a wonderfully relaxed companion.
Dolce loves to play, especially with other dogs her size! She enjoys energetic play like zoomies and tug-of-war, but she's also a pro at taking breaks and is mindful of other dogs' cues. After a good play session, she's happy to chill and relax. She's friendly and calm when meeting new dogs off-leash in a secure, supervised setting. Her energy levels adapt to her surroundings – ready for playtime or happy to snuggle up for movie night. Dolce hasn't had close encounters with cats but does notice them from afar. While she hasn't spent much time with children, her gentle nature suggests she'd likely do well with older, dog-savvy kids.
Dolce walks beautifully on a leash without pulling and is always alert for squirrels or patrolling the fence line. She's a great car rider, shows no signs of separation anxiety or potty accidents, and hasn't exhibited destructive behaviors when left alone. She is comfortable not being crated and enjoys her freedom responsibly. Dolce is sweet, affectionate, and enjoys her independence. While she hasn't shown resource guarding, it's always a good idea to feed dogs separately in a new environment. She can be a bit barky and jumpy when meeting new people and might be initially shy, so slow, calm introductions are key to her feeling comfortable. Once she trusts you, she is loyal, loving, and your perfect adventure buddy.

Dolce would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can play freely. She's happy with a canine sibling or as the sole focus of your affection, as she enjoys both active play and quiet downtime.
