Rocket's past may have involved being found abandoned, but his loving and well-adjusted nature shines through. He's a pro on leash, house-trained, and crate-trained, making him a wonderful addition to the right household. Rocket enjoys playtime, especially fetch, and would be thrilled with an active adopter who loves exploring the outdoors with long walks and park adventures. When it's time to relax, he's happy to settle down for a nap beside you. He's done well with his foster's senior dog and enjoys being a cuddle bug at home, content to relax at your feet or curl up for a snooze. Rocket is comfortable in an apartment setting and can be a great little guardian, alerting you to visitors.
Ideal Home
Rocket would thrive with an adopter who enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time outdoors. While he's generally good with other dogs, he can get a bit jumpy when excited, so he would likely do best in a home with older children who can safely handle his exuberance.
Ongoing Health
Rocket is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. He has been dewormed and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination.
Training & Support
Rocket is house-trained and crate-trained. He walks beautifully on leash and is comfortable in urban environments, including public transportation like the subway.
