About Hay

Hay is an 8–10-year-old terrier blend with a truly remarkable story. He and his best friend, Hennessy, a 4-year-old Border Collie mix, found themselves without their owner. While waiting at a boarding facility, a heartbreaking misunderstanding led to Hay being mistakenly reported as euthanized. Thankfully, this was not the case! Due to unforeseen circumstances with the family's plans and financial difficulties, Hay's scheduled euthanasia was delayed. When we learned he was still alive, we immediately brought him to the shelter, reuniting him with a overjoyed Hennessy. It's clear these two have a special bond, and Hay is ready for his second chance at a happy life.
