CARLA

Carla is a pretty pup who was originally adopted from a shelter in Chicago. She lived in her adoptive home for two years, but was surrendered when a new baby came along. Carla’s former owner told us she is very loyal and affectionate once she gets to know a person. She loves learning new tricks and will even spin before the command is given if she sees a treat! She will do well in a home with a lot of space and love. Carla has pleading eyes and a hopeful smile, and is a super cute, smallish girl who walks great on the leash. She loves to be petted and enjoys treats. Carla also loves attention from handlers and is sweet, friendly, and enjoys jumping on laps and rolling over for belly rubs. She can be a bit wiggly for photos but is happy to chew a toy by herself. Carla shares her kennel politely with another pup and would like to meet any resident pups before heading home to ensure a good fit.
