Lita

Lita is a sweet, approximately 3-year-old Chihuahua mix who was rescued from a hoarding and abandonment situation in Kentucky. She's a nervous girl who is still learning to trust the world around her, but she has a heart full of love to give. Lita is crate trained and has made good progress with puppy pad training. She's working on her confidence and would benefit from a patient adopter who can let her warm up at her own pace. While she's not yet comfortable being held or picked up, she enjoys gentle attention and will offer sweet kisses to your fingers when you offer them. Lita is very food motivated, which can be a great way to build a bond!

Ideal Home

Lita would thrive in a calm environment where she can continue to build her confidence. She needs another dog in the home to provide her with comfort and companionship. Please note, Lita would do best in a home without young children or large dogs. She also requires a secure fence, as she had no prior experience with the outdoors before her rescue.

Ongoing Health

Lita is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Lita is still learning to trust humans and needs a patient adopter to help her blossom. She is a bit shy and will need time to adjust. Remember that food is a great motivator for her!
