Meet Lacey, a charming 1.5-year-old pup weighing around 31 pounds. She's a delightful mix, possibly boxer and terrier, with a personality that shines! Lacey is the perfect blend of adventure and snuggle, ready to explore the world with you and then curl up for some cozy couch time. She's a social butterfly, getting along famously with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and has shown surprising chillness around cats. Her interactions with other dogs are a masterclass in diplomacy, always knowing when to play and when to take a break. Inside, she transforms into a sweet cuddlebug, melting into her favorite spot for a nap. Lacey's affection for people is heartwarming; she offers gentle kisses and accepts treats with delicate politeness. She's a dream to walk on leash, making her an ideal companion for neighborhood strolls, patio dates, road trips, and market visits.
Ideal Home
Lacey is incredibly adaptable and could thrive in many different homes. She'd be happy with playful dog siblings or as an only dog. She can handle apartment living with an active family who enjoys outings, or she'd love a house with a backyard for zoomies. While she's shown great promise with cats, slow introductions or a cat test are still recommended. She hasn't been officially tested with children yet, but her gentle, social, and adaptable nature suggests she'll be a wonderful family dog.
Ongoing Health
Lacey is a healthy girl who has received all age-appropriate vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. She is microchipped and ready for her forever home.
Training & Support
Lacey is crate-trained and treat-motivated. Her adaptable nature and eagerness to please make her a joy to train. She's already mastered basic leash walking and has excellent self-regulation skills, knowing when to take a break from exciting situations.

Transporation
Lacey is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A surcharge of $87 applies for transport.
