Alfalfa is a handsome adult male Shepherd mix with a heart full of gratitude, just waiting for his forever family. He's overcome a difficult past, having been rescued from an extreme hoarding situation where he lived with 87 other dogs. Thanks to the dedication of rescuers, Alfalfa is finally ready to leave that life behind and embrace a brighter future. He's a bit shy at first, but with a little patience, his sweet and steady nature will shine through. Alfalfa is a bit of a loner and would be content with or without another dog or cat. Once he trusts you, he becomes a quiet and loving companion, but on his own terms. He's been through a lot and is looking for a wonderful, patient, laid-back, and quiet family to call his own.
