Phil

Phil is a charming French Bulldog, almost 2 years old, who is looking for a very special and understanding home. He was surrendered when his previous owners could no longer meet his needs. Phil has some ongoing health concerns that require lifelong management.

Ideal Home

Phil would do best in an experienced adult household. He is not a cuddler and prefers his space, handling must be on his terms. He is also possessive of his food and toys. Phil cannot live with cats and should be the only dog in the home.

Ongoing Health

Phil has been diagnosed with fairly severe Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), which requires lifelong care, including multiple medications and a strict prescription diet. While he has improved, he still has softer, more frequent stools, which may make housebreaking a challenge.

Training & Support

Due to being a bit standoffish and undersocialized at first, Phil will need continued work to build his confidence. Patience and understanding will be key to helping him bond and become the fun, playful dog he can be.
