Meet Kevin!
Kevin is a 1-year-and-6-month-old, 47-pound male Husky with a personality as big and bright as his tricolor coat! He's a hilarious goofball who is genuinely full of life, energy, and a whole lot of opinions he's eager to share. As a true Husky, Kevin loves to talk, play, and shower his people with affection. He's sweet, entertaining, and a delightful ball of joyful chaos. Kevin was rescued from a situation where his life was at risk, and we're so glad he's with us now, ready for a bright future. Life with Kevin promises to be anything but boring; he'll keep you laughing and love you with all his might.
Ideal Home
Kevin needs an active family that can keep up with his boundless energy and appreciate his vocal nature. Previous experience with the Husky breed would be a great asset. He'll thrive with people who enjoy an entertaining and engaging companion and have a good sense of humor! He can live with other dogs but is not a good fit for homes with cats. He can be a bit too enthusiastic for very young children, so older kids would be best.
Ongoing Health
Kevin has recently completed heartworm treatment and is currently on a recovery plan requiring him to be kept calm and relaxed. We are monitoring his progress closely and will clear him for adoption once our veterinary team gives the go-ahead.
Training & Support
Being young and full of enthusiasm, Kevin will benefit from consistent, positive training. Huskies are known for their intelligence and independent spirit, so patience and engaging activities will be key to his success. With the right guidance, he's sure to be an absolute star!
