Sammy

Meet Sammy! This handsome young adult Lab/Greyhound mix is ready to find his forever family. Sammy came to us under sad circumstances after his owner passed away and he was found left in a crate. While he tolerates crates for short periods like vet visits, he much prefers the freedom of an open space. Sammy is a resilient pup who has fully recovered from parvo and is ready to embrace his new life with enthusiasm. He's a good dog with a lot of love to give, though he does have a bit of high energy and will need some practice with leash walking. We're still learning about his compatibility with cats and other dogs.

Ideal Home

Sammy would thrive in a home where he has plenty of space to roam and play. He'd prefer a home that understands his need for open spaces over confined areas.

Ongoing Health

Sammy has made a full recovery from parvo. He is fully vetted and ready for his new life.

Training & Support

Sammy will need some work on leash manners due to his high energy. Patience and positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping him succeed.
