About Queenie

Meet Queenie, a three-year-old Retriever mix who is a true gem with one eye and a heart of gold! This 55-pound bundle of joy is full of energy, charm, and a delightful dash of sass. Queenie lost sight in one eye, but it hasn't slowed her down one bit – she's ready for all of life's adventures! She's a character who loves her walks but might decide to take a spontaneous rest stop, because, well, she's Queenie! While she's not a big toy player, she enjoys wrestling with her doggy friends and soaking up all the affection you can give. She can be a bit timid at first with new people, but it doesn't take long for her to warm up and request those essential belly rubs. Queenie also has a stubborn streak, especially when it's time to put on her leash, but it's all part of her unique charm!

Ideal Home

Queenie would thrive in a home with a large yard where she can explore to her heart's content. An active family that enjoys hiking or running would be a perfect match for her lively spirit. Queenie's curiosity can sometimes lead her to dig or find ways out of containment, but she's not a runner and is always eager to return. Homes with children aged 10 and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both Queenie and the family.

Ongoing Health

Queenie has lost sight in one eye.
